My name is Ron and I am head coach at PokerRoomSchool. I'll be playing at CD Poker, Starting with a $50 bankroll, just like anyone signing up, and will update you on my progress as I move up in limits and build my bankroll, I will be playing on the same tables as our users and will be posting videos and hand histories of these sessions as I show how with a good poker education and patience winning in poker is more then just possible, it happens all the time. I hope you join me in my 50$ journey by starting one of your own, and with our assistance and your patience you can also climb the poker ladder.
Today I sat at the CD Poker tables for the first time with my 50$ bankroll,
I made 8 dollars playing about 1K hands of 0.1 - 0.2 limit hold'em, at about 4BB per 100 hands. That's a pretty good pace, however with the soft competition it is expected.
See you at the tables...
I three tabled 0.10-0.20 for a couple of hours today and made a nice sum of money considering the stakes. I ran really hot for 30 minutes and finished the session up 7 dollars. I plan on playing some 0.25-0.5 tommorow.
Started off with a run of bad cards today but eventually pulled myself back to a 1.20 $ win... although I won less then expected I feel I played well and will do better over time.
I played alot of 0.10 0.20 limit hold'em the past few days , about 2000 hands , made about 13 dollars during two 2 hour session,
I also played a S&G for 1 dollar and placed first, winning 4$in the proccess,
Todays session : +18
Current bankroll : 76 $
Had a good day today playing 0.25-0.50 limit holdem , I won almost 14 dollars, Had a great run at one point making consecutive full houses for big pots while hitting a flush on the other table , played a total of 800 hands and won almost 28 BB.
So I just wrapped up my first month of playing on CD poker , I started off at the 0.10-0.20 cent limit tables and finished the month playing 0.25-0.50.
So, I've played a bunch of 0.5$-1$ limit over the past week and a half, after 5000 hands I’ve made almost 150$, which translates to a 3 bb/100 hand ratio, I’m attaching a screen shot with my graph from this past week and a half, you'll notice there are some swings and I was even down a bit in the beginning but things tend to even out once you play a bunch of hands and generally the graph is moving upwards at the expected pace.
Well, after working hard for 15,000 hands I have finally built my bankroll up to a sufficient some for moving up to 1-2 limit hold'em.
The past week I experienced my first big downswing but managed to work my way through it without to my much damage to my bankroll and eventually my luck changed back up and I got back to winning at a good pace.
So after taking a couple of weeks off I got back to playing at the 1-2 Short handed limit tables and after doing just ok for the first few thousands hands I’ve been on fire lately and as you can see by my attached graph things are going great.
