David “chip” Reese, widely known as won of the best poker players in the world Died earlier this week at the age of 56 .

Reese was best known for winning the inaugural 50,000 dollar buy in tournament at the WSOP.

Reese was a very well known and respected cash game player in the biggest game in Las Vegas for decades.

Reese Was considered by many to be the best and most complete of all poker professionals, his win in what is considered the most prestigious WSOP event stands as a strong endorsement for his poker prowess.

Reese also won two additional WSOP bracelets in his career and was the youngest player ever to be inducted into the poker hall of fame in 1991at age 40.
